6 workshops took place to produce 56 pieces for the glass work. They were very exciting workshops, and hot to with the furnaces on during some warm June days! Glass blower Ingrid Philips led the workshops, and what a phenomenal teacher she was. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the creative process, working with this incredible material and making something that will be part of their community. Community members created totally unique pieces, blown and shaped by themselves, ready for the interactive artwork to hang in the new health centre.
Next steps include sandblasting the pieces and makers engraving their names on their pieces.
